We got no sleep on the five hour flight to Lisbon. After navigating the metro to our hotel, it was too early for check-in. We had a quick lunch and walked the neighborhood to get our bearings. Luckily the hotel had our room ready about noon so we napped all afternoon.

Directly across the street from our hotel is a bustling fresh market with all manner of fish and vegetables.
We never guessed that the hotel’s restaurant specialty is fish and the chef shops at the same market.
We chose a salad, legumes a bras, tachimho peixe (fish stew), and bacalhau a Lagar (cod steak), topped off with green wine and a small glass of port.
We’re starting to practice the eating and sleeping parts of the Camino, but need to get a bit farther on practicing walking. Perhaps tomorrow after a good night of rest.
