It was cloudy and cold so we indulged in a very lazy day. We didn’t leave the apartment, but caught up and planned for a great day tomorrow.
No statistics to speak of.
No Relive video for today.

I find that I am following a theme I like, the sky. The second picture on this entry is amazing. Lots of mystery in those mountains. The churches, well, you could teach an art class after this adventure. I do enjoy the street scenes, showing us the activity of the town.
I agree with the focus on the sky, although we call it the clouds. Richard and I watched the jagged mountain being obscured by a cloud over and over. Just when we thought the cloud would move, another would appear seemingly from nowhere! Yesterday was cloudy al day—some below us, some atop the mountains, and different mist of the day. Today (Friday) is dawning with pink skies coloring the clouds and mountains. Pictures will follow!
Great idea to have a “down day” with no agenda. Good for recharging your batteries! Breakfast looks yummy.
It was a good day to rest. We have been going hard each day and Saturday will be a big travel day so it’s good to be mentally sound. besides, I’m happily caught up with my posts for a brief moment in time.
Your first picture is beautiful. Glad you have some time to kick back and rest up a bit. Your days have been so busy and I’m sure with many accompanying stresses of keeping on the planned schedule. Wendy and I are “amazed” with all you have seen and done so far.
We enjoy staying busy but a day off was also a treat. Couldn’t have been a nicer day with just the mountains to keep us company.
Yay! Relax day!! A little break, calm atmosphere, beautiful scenery, hanging out with the love of your life and great looking food….who could ask for more?
We had a great day. Luckily our landlady took us to the grocery store when she picked us up so we had supplies. Penne pesto was perfect!
