Richard did an excellent job showing the nature on our Golden Circle outing, so I will not duplicate photos. We saw everything we had hoped to see: Pindvellir National Park, Bruarfosse Waterfall, Geysir Geothermic Area, Guillfoss Waterfall, and Keri’s Crater.
It was our first real experience in the land of the midnight sun, so I will add a few comments for that.

We have arrived at the cruise terminal after a full day. It is 11:01 pm — the sun is setting but not down yet.
Howard from Kenya was our taxi driver in the morning when we went from the ship to the Hertz rental office. He gave us his number and suggested we could call him in the evening when we wanted to go back. We did call him, and he arrived within five minutes ready to take us to the ship.
11:33 pm and we’re in our room. The navigation channel shows that there is a tiny bit of light left. No matter—I’m ready for bed!
